Anyone on here going?
I might be, but not 100% sure yet. It may be too foggy for my Dad to drive, but I might be going on the supporters bus.

I'm intending to, I'm just going to find out what the club has heard and what they think the chances are, I'm not going to pay £15 for a bus which will crawl through fog at 20mph just to have to come back home!!! lol

Fantastic result, our fans were great too, we sang throughout the whole game, was a great atmosphere.
We dominated them first half, they had very few attacks, but we still only managed to create very few real chances.
Second half, they came into it a lot more and our attacks mostly came on the break, as did our goal. Fleetwood shot at an angle and the keeper made the save near his front post, but only parried the ball accross the goal for Sills to head in to an empty net... with his head. ;D I don't think anyone could have missed it, but he was at the right place at the right time.
Tammy had a very solid game in defence as did most of them. Purdie saw a lot of the ball and a lot of his passes went astray, but he was looking to create chances and play people through whereas everyone else just seemed to want to pass it about on the edge of the box till they lost it. So on the whole, he did ok.
Notts County were VERY poor though, but we can only play whats there to be played I spose. But great result, very valuble 3 points and a very nice, early christmas present. ;D

Anyway, the match. The first thing I noticed was the large amount of space in behind their defence, which we tried to exploit, in true Hereford style, by counter-attacking. Sadly for us, Tim Sills and Alan Connell aren't known for their pace, and we didn't exploit it as much as we should of. Purdie had a good effort tipped wide, in an equal first half to be honest.
Second half started, and despite it once again being very equal, they had the slight better chances. Cue Stuart Fleetwood's arrival for Connell, boos from the Hereford fans, who though Sills should of been subbed because he had only scored one goal all season. Yet, it worked, and Graham Turner was correct. Fleetwood chased a lost cause, got there before the defender and goalkeeper, looped a ball over for Sills to head into an empty net. His second of the season, sending a fantasticlly vocal 250 Hereford fans crazy! County pressed, and we thought they had a penalty, after Ferrell blasted against Webb's hand, but the ref blew his whislte, and pointed to a goal-kick. At first, everyone thought it was a penalty, including Wayne Brown, but it wasn't. They had a last minute shot blocked by Brown but we held on for a vital three points, keeping up our play-off hopes.
If we can beat Bristol Rovers, and Wrexham over the Christmas period, then we will be in good stead for the play-offs. These are two winnable home games, on New Years day we go to Wycombe. It sounds tough, but I wouldn't put it past us winning it. We've gone to Swindon, MK Dons, Notts COunty and Stockport and won, so why not Wycombe?
Credit to the fans who made the journey, despite the fog, traffic, xmas time etc. We made a fantastic noise, and were a credit to the side. Really enjoyed the night.
